The 10th MINEX Europe Mining and Exploration Forum will take place on 28-30 October 2026 in Trim, Ireland – a short distance from Dublin Airport.

The Forum in Trim will focus its agenda on the missing pieces: how the mineral-rich European jurisdictions like Ireland can turn strong policy into trusted practice; how companies, communities and policymakers can rebuild mining’s moral legitimacy; and how Europe can turn its industrial ambitions into bankable projects that are not only investable and sustainable, but seen by citizens as essential.

The Forum and Industry exhibition will take place on 28-29 October 2026 at the Knightsbrook Hotel Spa and Golf Resort .

On 30 October, the Forum participants will be offered an opportunity to visit Tara Mine – one of Europe’s largest mines operated by Boliden, producing zinc and lead concentrates for the European market.

ICBR 2026, taking place September 9 – 11, 2026, brings the battery recycling industry to Berlin at a time when technical progress, regulatory requirements and economic reality are becoming increasingly interlinked.

Across the battery value chain, the focus is shifting towards reliable recycling capacity, safe reverse logistics, raw material recovery, and the competitiveness of industrial recycling in Europe and worldwide.

This year’s programme reflects these developments, bringing together industry leaders, recyclers, battery manufacturers, OEMs, researchers, policymakers and technology providers to discuss the topics currently shaping our sector, from end-of-life batteries and changing chemistries to black mass, regulation and international material flows.

For months, the Steering Committee and Lecture Group have been working on a programme addressing what matters most to our industry today.

Berlin, as one of Europe’s key political and industrial centres, provides the right setting for this exchange.

Utility-scale and C&I solar and storage systems are reaching the end of their first life, and current decommissioning practices are insufficient to manage this massive influx of assets profitably. The market now demands rigorous economic systems thinking. As new waste policies take effect, the critical factor in protecting long-term project yield is ensuring high-purity material recovery across PV, BESS, and BOS. Doing so goes beyond simple compliance and will directly secure more favorable insurance and refinancing terms.

Taking place in Amsterdam, the Recycling Solar & BESS Summit moves the conversation from theory to industrial execution. Co-organized by Solarplaza and PV Cycle, this summit connects infrastructure funds, asset managers, and high-tech recyclers to mitigate risk, optimize repowering, and turn end-of-life liabilities into a strategic commercial advantage.

The FT Metals & Mining Summit gathers major mining CEOs and executives, financiers, metals traders and policymakers to understand the future outlook of the sector. On this year’s agenda Anglo American, Vale, BHP, RioTinto, Teck and 80+ speakers will discuss how shifting geopolitics, national security policies, and surging demand are impacting operational strategies and capital flows.

Strategically placed ahead of LME week, when all major players are in London, the event boasts an attendee list you won’t find anywhere else. 73% in 2026 held a ‘head of’ level job title of more senior, meaning the networking is invaluable.

“An exceptional gathering marked by strategic networking with high-level delegations, fostering meaningful connections in the mining and metals sector.” – Project Director, Innomotics.
